What You Should Know For Your Outing
While having 27 holes does allow for more tee times and offers the golfers 3 different courses to play, it also creates some scheduling difficulties, especially with groups that have been accustomed to going off of two tees and playing the same 18 holes. Our policies are as follows:
Groups of up to 32 - straight tee times
Groups of 32-90 - may go off of two tees, may play different 9's
Groups of 90 or more - may go off of two or three tees, will play different 9's
18 Hole Shotgun Starts require a minimum of 120 golfers
27 Hole Shotgun Starts require a minimum of 180 golfers
For scoring purposes, your group can be split into two or three divisions. Requests for certain 9's will be given as much consideration as possible, but not all requests will be able to be accommodated. All final decisions on scheduling will be made by the pro shop.
Headcount – Your group is responsible for the number confirmed 7 days in advance. Any changes in the number of golfers (up or down) must be relayed to the proshop as soon as possible. Frequent communication can avoid confusion and eliminate scheduling problems.
Alcohol on the Course - All food and beverage consumed on the course must be purchased at the course. COOLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THE COURSE. Most of the problems that occur (slow play, cart damage, course damage, profanity, horseplay, etc.) are alcohol related.
Pace of Play - While you may have 50 golfers in your group, more than likely there are 100 other players on the course at the same time. Ready golf and common sense can discourage slow play. Your position on the course is behind the group in front of you, not in front of the group behind you.
Halfway House - Groups having halfway house lunch tickets are expected to get their sandwich and proceed to the next tee. Ten minutes or approximately one tee time should be enough time to take care of your needs at the turn. If the group behind you is at the halfway house, you belong on the next tee.
Terry Hills is a Spikeless Facility - Steel spikes are no longer permissible. Softspikes are mandatory. We ask for everyone’s cooperation. Soft spikes are available at the golf course.
Dress Code - Proper golf attire and footwear are required at all times. Shirts with sleeves will be required for men (collars preferred). No tank tops or cut offs, etc. No exceptions.
